1. Scope

These terms describe the rules for using www.rosrunner.com and its pages ("this website"), provided by Jason Chang, an individual publishing software under the RosRunner name ("we", "us"). Please read them before use; if you disagree, stop using the website. Where the law requires express consent, we will obtain it separately rather than treating browsing alone as consent.

These terms do not govern use of the RosRunner software. That is governed by a separate proprietary commercial licence, published in full on the licence page and supplied with the software. Where the two documents conflict in respect of the software, the licence prevails.

2. The nature of the content published here

The content of this website describes the build of RosRunner current at the time of publication. Where a capability is limited to one kind of connection, depends on particular hardware, or has not been verified at scale, the relevant page states that limitation.

General product information is not an individual quotation or service level commitment. The software is not currently available to download, and this website offers no price, trial period or purchase flow. Individual transaction conditions must be confirmed in valid purchase terms or a written agreement. This does not exclude legal duties concerning truthful advertising, product descriptions or consumer rights.

Compatibility information published here — such as the RouterOS versions verified — reflects testing in particular environments and is not a guarantee of identical behaviour in others.

3. Intellectual property and trade marks

Except where otherwise indicated, the content, layout, images and code of this website are the copyright of Jason Chang. You may view and print the content of this website for the purpose of evaluating the product. You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute or otherwise exploit it commercially without prior written permission.

The product images published here are real screenshots captured from the running software, in which device names and addresses have been replaced with example values. Those images are protected on the same basis.

MikroTik, RouterOS and WinBox are trade marks of their respective owners. RosRunner is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by MikroTik. Those names appear on this website only as necessary to describe compatibility.

This section does not restrict quotation, fair use or other uses permitted by applicable law. Third-party material and open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose; to attempt unauthorised access to the website or its hosting environment; to extract content by automated means to an extent that places an unreasonable load on the service; or to circumvent or interfere with any of its security measures.

This website provides no user accounts, comments or upload facility, so no provisions concerning user-submitted content apply.

5. External links

This website may link to sites operated by third parties. Those sites are outside our control, and we accept no responsibility for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not constitute an endorsement.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information published here accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the website will be available without interruption or free of error, or that its content is complete and correct at any given moment. We may change or remove content at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. This does not exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, nor does it reduce mandatory consumer rights.

Warranties and liability in respect of the software itself are governed by the licence and are unaffected by these terms.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

The parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising out of these terms, without prejudice to any exclusive jurisdiction conferred by law and without affecting any mandatory rights a consumer may have under the law of their place of residence.

9. Language versions and validity

The Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese versions are intended to have the same meaning. Please contact us to clarify and correct translation discrepancies. No language version excludes mandatory law or users’ statutory rights.

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Applicable law governs the invalid part; severability does not expand our exclusions of liability.
